Thomas Gil Hodges DVM

Dr. Hodges received his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Washington State University in 1985. He also holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology. After graduation he was recruited by a prominent small animal hospital in Dallas, where he specialized in Feline Medicine. He returned to the Northwest and has owned and managed Cat Care Clinic Bellevue for over 33 years.

Dr. Hodges and his wife Kathryn enjoy a small Equestrian farm and business at their home in the Snohomish area, and are busy with their three children, horses, hamsters and their “Cat” BC Hodges.


Kathryn Zahlis Hodges

Kathryn, Dr. Hodges’ wife, is the co-owner of Cat Care Clinic. She has owned and loved several purebred American Shorthairs. She shares an interest in medicine and operates an Equine layup, recovery and training facility at their ranch in the Snohomish area. She specializes in Dressage and Gaited horses. Currently, they own several horses including a Peruvian Paso Stallion, Bonito CR and a Peruvian Paso Mare, La Valentina. Kathryn continues to have a successful Equestrian career and holds numerous titles. She also has traveled with the USET Equestrian Team with her Dressage Instructors throughout Europe. Her other interests include International Fashion, having modeled throughout Europe, Japan, Mexico and the USA, in the eighties and nineties. Currently, she and Dr. Hodges live with their three children, horses, hamsters and their “Cat” Impy.


Blake Hodges, Practice Manager

Blake graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. After spending the past couple of years as a part-time administrative assistant, he now operates as the Clinic’s Manager. Not only is he responsible for the business, marketing, and advertising aspects of the clinic, but also assists the veterinarians during examinations and procedures.

Blake’s primary interests include human medicine, animals, and serving our community in whatever capacity he can. Previously, he worked as a program assistant at a health center for adults with disabilities and chronic illnesses. He currently volunteers in Seattle as a coach for Special Olympics. It is his future aspiration to attend medical school and become a physician.

Outside of the Clinic, Blake enjoys playing sports (particularly basketball), hiking, paddle-boarding, and trying new cuisines.
